This four-week event, organized by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the American Consulate in Alexandria, and the American University in Cairo, pays homage to some of the most significant chapters in jazz music's storied evolution, with the narrative told through a series of concerts and workshops by world-class international musicians in Cairo and Alexandria. This first edition of the Jazz Tales Festival ran from March 7 to April 1 2017.
